Xp home upgrade gets half way through loading and comes to a blue screen and says uninstall hd also hd erors. HD has a fresh format as fat 32. also tried a clean boot ?
Why FAT 32 instead of NTFS? I would boot from the XP CD, partition and
format NTFS and install from the XP CD. You will need to insert a
qualifying version of Windows when prompted since you are using a upgrade
version of XP.
