Runs in Safe mode just fine, but after trying system
restore and everything I can think of, I can't get it to
boot in normal mode. Any tips?

Hi Matt,
Well if XP works like 98 did on my old computer you can
try forcing it to run in normal mode. While it's booting
up and before it displays the windows hold down the CTRL
key and see if the DOS window (black screen) comes up
with the boot up options. Then you can select(may have
to use the arrow keys) the NORMAL mode - usually number
1. It's worth the try. I know the safe mode view is
really annoying.
Good luck

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately, I can get it
to "try" to boot in normal, but nothing happens.
The "Windows" screen comes up, then nothing.
