I have a sound card that is built into my motherboard.
All drivers have been installed and are recognized in the
Device Manager. However, when ANY type of music is
attempting to play, I get an error message. This message
details that I do not have a sound card installed. I
tried to install a secondary card but have had the same
problem. The manufacturer and the retailer in which I
bought the motherboard says it is a problem with Windows.
Thank You.

Thanks for the response. How would I turn off the built
in sound in the BIOS? With the secondary card, I did
disable and uninstalled all built in drivers, devices in
the device manager.
