Hello

I've got a P4C800-E Deluxe MB with BIOS 1016. I have 2 Samsung 160GB IDE drives on the
Promise PRI IDE Raid Port ( Raid 1 ). I also have 2 Hitachi 250GB SATA drives connected to the Promise
SATA Raid Ports ( Raid 0 ). When i try and install xp it wants to install on the sata raid drives
not my ide raid drives. I can install a partition c: within the setup for the ide raid but it still wants to be put on
the sata raid.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Go into the BIOS and change the hard drive order around. Can't remember the
exact menu it's on, I think it might be on the boot page or the one next to
it.
If you're still having problems then unplug all but one drive during the
install.
If it's too late and you've installed to d: for example then you can change
this in the registry fairly easily.
