XP/VISTA PRINTER SHAREING and FILE SHAREING

OK, I have a workgroup created beetween my xp and vista, my vista is the
computer i used to make the network. I can access the files stored on my
vista from my xp, but not the other way around.

When i try to print from my xp, it says it "communication not availible",
but i can print perfectly from the vista. I have set this printer has a
shared printer on both computers.

I have pinged the vista from the xp with 0% data loss, but when i ping the
xp from the vista i get 100% data lost.

Any suggestions on how i can share files

PRINTER: DELL AIO PHOTO 924
XP: Dell Inspiron B120
Vista: XPS M1210

Is "communication not availible" the complete and entire message? How are the
computers connected?

Look at the NetBT setting, and at any personal firewalls and any other security
component.
