Does anyone know if Microsoft has a viewer/reader to
download for Powerpoint - Office XP Professional? If so,
where can it be found?
 
I read an item in Computer Active (Issue 159) recently
which covered this very matter. You can obtain a free
PowerPoint viewer from www.microsoft.com/downloads and
enter PowerPoint into the search box in the middle of the
screen. When the search results are returned
select 'PowerPoint viewer for PowerPoint 97, 2000and 2002
users' and follow the download instructions. You can use
this small programme on any PC and it will allow you to
view PowerPoint presentations without the PowerPoint
programme.
 
Not any system. The viewer will run on systems with Windows 2000 Service
Pack 3, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows Server 2003, Windows
XP. Note that Windows 98 and 3.1 are not included, nor is Windows NT.
