XP User Accounts Unable to Resolve URLs

Background:

When I installed XP Pro I created an account (as admin)
for myself in addition to the default accounts. After
installation I configured the OS for other user accounts,
1 as an admin, 3 others as teen, children, -limited etc.

Problem;

While attempting to set up each additional account with
entries in Favorites using IE 6. I noticed that I was
unable to resolve certain URLs such as, Hotmail.com,
YahooMail.com and many others. In comparison to the
primary administrative account I created for myself, this
doesn't happen. I am able to resolve anything entered.
Its frustrating that I'm unable to do so in the other
accounts.

I checked firewall settings for XP and SAV as well as
many other obvious configuration issues that could
possibly be causing this problem.

Any clues would be much appreciated.
