XP upgrade Question

I purchased the Windows XP Professional upgrade to
upgrade my PC from Windows XP Home Edition to Windows XP
Professional. My question is, aftetr I do the upgrade,
can I put the Windows XP Home edition on another PC that
I have that now has Windows 98? Or is my Home edition
still registered to my upgraded PC?
Thanks for your help.
 
Sure, you own it don't you? Or listen to all the MS brown
nosers and thow it away.........lol

Not according to the EULA.

The upgrade version is dependent on there being a qualifying previous
Windows version and is why the price is substantially lower. When you
upgrade, the 'two' licenses become 'one' and for EULA compliance restricted
to use on one computer at a time.
If the original XP home was OEM from the manufacturer, it is restricted to
the original computer it is installed.

If you use an Upgrade version of WinXP Pro, the license for WinXP
Home will been subsumed (become an integral part of) by the WinXP Pro
Upgrade license. Basically, you have no license to use the Upgrade
without there first being an earlier, qualifying OS license
_permanently_ in place on the computer.
