XP upgrade - Norton Ghost

I just upgraded from W2000 pro to XP Pro on a spare backup hard drive just
to take it for a test drive. The XP Pro upgrade worked fine with one
exception. I get a message on the Norton Ghost Tray Icon saying Licence
will expire on October 28 2005. My main work HD with W2K is working fine
with no mention of any licence expiry. What happened, has this happened to
anyone else? Norton Ghost is the only Norton software I have on the
machine.

Thanks

Did you pay for Ghost?

Yes I did pay for Norton Ghost and all of my software. It is still working
fine on my main W2K machine. Just interested in case I decide to
upgrade my main machine to XP.

The license expiry message on the tray icon was for Norton Ghost not XP
Did you activate Windows XP?

That's what I thought but just checking to make sure.

Looking at the Ghost 9 manual (pages 15 - 17) it appears like your install
of Ghost hasn't been activated. Open Ghost and go to Help->Unlock and enter
your serial number.
