hi ,
can some please help.I've just upgraded my OS from ME to
XP..and i can't update the XP by downloading the service
pack..i don't know why ..please help

It says that my Produt key in no good. Just had this XP
CD.I've got my s/n and product key but it's saying that
it invalid. have you got any ideas?
 
Start by checking your product key against those mentioned in the following
Knowledge Base Article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q326904

If your product key does match, you need to follow the advice in the
article.

If they do not, are you sure of the source from which you obtained your CD?
The keys in the above article are only two examples but other pirated
versions are also being sold to consumers as legitimate.

Other sites to check for information on determining validity of your
product:
