XP update not working.

When I went to udate Xp with the latest update pack i gt
the following message. "Setup could not verify the
integrity of the file update.inf. Make sure the
cryptographic service is runnong on this computer." What
and where is this service? How do I make sure it's
running?

Cryptographic Error. While this script was written due to the same problem
with the specific hotfix mentioned, it will also correct your problem.

Thanks for the tip, however, this did not do the trick.
