Well, I have finally moved to Linux this week at home. I am pleased that it
has a graphical interface. It has not crashed once in a week of full time
use. No need to reboot after installation of new programs. Good software
base. Well, I could go on, but won't about the benefits.

Bill Gates just went too far with Vista. Just too far. Price, stability,
drivers, activations, bugs, betas, etc.

The French parliament agrees with you:

Not Bill Gates but Steve, "Screamer", Ballmer went too far.

Let's see now, in a VISTA group, you reported going from XP to Linux. That
sure helps people here. It's about as relevant as a "tits on a bull"

It's incredible, isn't it... Some people really have nothing better to do...

Zombiebaby,

He is doing much more good than you have ever done...

he is showing the people in here that there are other far better
alternatives
to the horrible vista

What good are you doing by saying Vista is Stupid? You are a moron!

You're right, an OS can't be stupid. Only the people who buy Vista are
doing something stupid, except, of course, repair techs so they can help
the people who stupidly bought it.

You keep posting OT all over the place. Could be that your keyboard is
stuck. Better check those Vista drives to make sure yours are up to date.

Bill is taking a a short breather after single-handedly writing the whole of
Vista, but says he'll fix all the driver and bug issues after he's finished
his cup of coffee.

That's nice, I tried Linux, but there were no software equivilents for what I
need to do my job.

Got Vista installed, hasn't crashed, Havnent needed to reinstall after every
software install. Full USB Support for all my USB Devices & Keys. And Low
Cost (Anyone that pays full price for Vista just dosn't know how to shop :) )

In six years of use; more than a dozen distributions on about 25 different
machines; I have NEVER seen a Linux machine crash short of a hardware
problem. I am continually amazed that MS needs to be rebooted after every
little thing - I have routinely run Linux systems for months - until I
decided to do a hardware change or the power died.

You forgot to mention the pleasures of activation and genuinization.
Yaknow, when MS virtually jerks you out of your car, slam dunks you down
on the hood and frisks you.
