XP to 2K: connecting but can't find server

I have XP and I'm trying to connect with and use files
from a computer with 2000. The dial-up connection is
being made, but my computer can't seem to find hers once
it is connected. It worked fine with my old computer,
which had Windows 98, so it must be an XP issue. I've
tried everything I can think of, so any advice would be
appreciated. Thanks.
