XP Task Manager help PLEEEEEZZZZZE???? (My son screwed my computer

Hi, my little boy has mucked something up on my XP so that I cant
CTRL-ALT_DEL out of a program when it freezes...it says that "Task Manager
has been disabled by your administrator"....cept I AM the only administrator
coz its my home pc???

help how do I fix this??

I have tried logging on as admin but cant work out how to fix

Try run,type:cmd In cmd type:taskmgr /REVERT close out cmd,restart
computer.Run as administrator from safe mode if needed.

The following MS Knowledge Base article explains how to enable task manager
again. Would like to note that this is often a symptom of being infected
with a virus or other malware. By "blocking" access to the task
manager and other system tools handy for removing these things, the "bad
guy" can hang around longer. In other words --besides repairing the task
manger, be sure to check your system thoroughly for viruses and malware.

to reset it do this "please be careful in regedit"

cick start
click run
type regedit.exe
lok for HOT KEY CU \
SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURENTVERSION\POLICIES\SYSTEM
CLICK ON IT YOU SHOULD SEE THE TASK MANAGER
double click on the disable task manager
set the value of data to zero (enable) one (disable)
