xp takes longer to load at startup?

hi.

i've just noticed, that after i start my laptop, just before the windows xp
loads screen appears (black screen with logo in the middle), i get this
small white progress bar, before it starts to load xp.

y? and i think the load windows xp screen stays on longer now, y?

i recently installed sims 2, and it had a graphics error, so i done a
restore.

Make sure the computer is 100% virus/malware-free:
