xp system restore dates missing

The system restore dates, do not show on the restore
screen? I put restore dates in myself these too have
dissapeared? Anyone any ideas?

Has system restore been turned off somehow?
Go to the system restore tab of system properties and check there. If you
can't find this dialog (which I couldn't) then enter System Restore in
Windows general help
