XP sucks

im new to XP and so far i hate it..im getting a error
that gives me 1min to close everything.. it will not save
any info at all. plus now i cant get my cd drive to work
so i can reinstall...please help
 
Hi Kim,

What you should hate it the virus that has infected your machine. When the
shutdown warning appears, click start/run and enter "shutdown -a" to halt
the process. It's a virus called blaster or lovesan. Information:

You need the patch described here to protect against it:

Problem is, you needed to install the patch BEFORE you got infected to avoid
it.

No Firewall,no Anti-virus,No windows update.Just what

very foolish getting on the net w/o Anti-Virus software...plus a few other
things....firewall....pop up blockers, etc.....
