XP stop responding while shutting down

Hi
My winxp stop responding while shutting down.
This problem starts after installation of my Yamaha724 sound card driver.
I uninstalled the sound card and installed it again but the problem maintains yet .
Please help me .

If you take the Yamaha724 card out and remove it's driver ... it's OK?

Perhaps this is a clue?

Check with Yamaha's web site for a non-buggy driver, or a driver
designed to work with XP. Check with their support organisation for a
recommendation for how to make their software/hardware work. Consider
returning the Yamaha card for another vendor's device.
