I've noticed that my XP system has been taking longer to boot up and shutdown. Also, at shut down it hangs up without turning off , leaving the screen blank. If I recycle power, I have to restart windows in the safe mode and shut down normally. This has been occuring more frequently. I've scanned the computer on a regular bases and did a disk cleanup. Any help would be appreciated.
