Greetings all,
I heed your help! I recently purchase a USB2.0 250GB hard drive.
I plugged it into my compter at work:
Pentium 4 - 2.8 Ghz
Windows XP Pro - SP2
(Built-in USB 2.0)
It works fine, however, when i looked at "My Computer" it had split
the drive into to separate drives with 183GB on drive E, and the rest
on Drive F. I really didnt have a problem with this. So i let it go.
However, when i hooked the drive into my home computer:
Pentium 3 - 1.8 Ghz
Windows XP Pro - SP2
(After market USB 2.0)
It only showed 191 Ghz in My Computer, with NO second drive.
I took the Hard Drive back to work the next day, and now Drive E
shows 191 Ghz, and the remainder on Drive F.
My question is, why doesnt the remainder of the hard drive show up
as a second drive on the home computer? And is there anyway to
change that? do you think it could have something to do with the after
market USB2.0 port?
PLEASE HELP!
Thank you,
Patrick
