Have Visual Studio.NET installed on Windows 2000 Professional OS. Also, now
have it installed on XP SP2 OS. When I develop using 2K OS - no web
development issues - either popup of SQL timeouts. When I develop using same
code blocks on XP SP2 OS - getting all sorts of headaches.
1st) System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException : Timeout expired message. Attempts
to open SQL database fail. Increase "Connect Time" and doesn't help. Once
in blue moon it connects successfully.
2nd) Popup - now getting popup blocker with client-side scripts - even if I
keep the feature disabled?
What are resolutions to these issues? I've posted in
dotnet.framework.aspnet - and noone answers. Also, viewed other posts with
same questions - and no responses in inquires.
Any real help is appreciated. Really disgusted already!
