xp sp 2 problems

since installing xp sp 2 i now get an error "Internet
explorer has encountered a problem with an add-on and
needs to close. File PDF.OCX Adobe systems Adobe Accrobat
Contro for Active X" was running when this problem was
encountered.

A second problem i now have is that i can no longer open
videos sent to be by email.

any help would be appreciated

I had the same problem and I resolve ite installing Adobe Reader 7.0
Grettings from Colombia, excuse for the bad english
 
Where did you acquire Ver 7.0 ?
(Adobe, as at 8 Oct 04, shows - "New update: Adobe Reader 6.0.2")
