The system has slow down dramatically after connected to internet (broadband) with
cpu utilization shot up to 75% to 100%. Also DLLHOST.EXE is very active in the background.
Any solution ?

DLLHOST.EXE is a virus called worm_nachi.a search microsoft on how to remove it, also get a firewall.

DLLHOST.EXE is _NOT_ a virus! It is a legitimate Windows System File. It
_CAN_, however, be replaced by an infected file should someone acquire
certain viruses or trojans.

To just come out and say this it is a virus is just plain wrong, and
completely untrue. The only way to know for sure would be to perform a
virus scan with updated definitions...

Among other things check to see if Universal Plug-N-Play is turned on.
It can really slow things down if you don't have a fast system.
