I'm trying to connect some XP machines to exisiting
windows 2000 domains (there is a mixture of OS versions,
including 98 & 2000). When I log on to the domain, a 2.4
GHz machine runs slower at accessing the network than a
128 Meg machine using windows 98.
If I log on locally, instead of to the domain, even though
I access the Server shares, they are blazing fast. Yet
logging on to the domain is a dog.
This has happened many times in different domains.
Any ideas?
