XP Service Pack Problems

For the first time I downloaded and installed a Windows
Update. It happened to be the XP Service Pack.

That was less than 24 hours ago. So far the results have
been: (a) My Acrobat5.0 refused to open, and I had to
reinstall it; (b) my Outlook Express started removing
every attachment I received, giving me the message that
it had removed an "unsafe attachment," which is clearly
fallacious.

I am unaware of any benefit I have received as a result
of the installation of the Service Pack. At the moment,
I am just waiting to discover what other problems it has
caused.

Can someone tell me how to keep my OE attachments. I
have my security settings on Medium.

Thank you.

Moe,

There's a Security tab on the Options window with an attachments checkbox.

You don't get to tell Express what a "dangerous attachment" is, of course
<wink>

Thanks. That works.
