I heard that XP is really bad for security issues. How does it compare to
windows vista and 7
 
XP is probably the least secure. But don't think
that by using Vista or Windows 7 you can skip
the need for a very good third party AV software
suite.

There is nothing included in Vista that free 3rd party security software
cannot make for a stronger secured Windows XP.

I think you can add antivirus software, or security software in you
computer.
It will be easier
 
Windows 7 has Microsoft Security Essentials which is an antivirus and
security applet with high ratings. You can download that to any PC.

This is not true. Microsoft Security Essential is an antivirus/antimalware
program but it is *not* part of Windows 7. Windows Defender, which is
strictly an antimalware program and *not* an antivirus, is part of Windows 7
just like it is part of Windows Vista.

A Windows 7 machine needs an antivirus installed, just like all other
Microsoft operating systems.
