xp security

i just bought a fujitsu notebook with xp for small
business use. security is an issue for my activety and i
would like to know if the xp built in firewall is
sufficient ?
on my desktop i am running windows 98 with blackice
firewall.

WXP's built-in firewall doesn't block outgoing traffic. If this is a
problem for you, it might be better to install your 'blackice' firewall on
WXP as well.

thanks and i appreciate the help and outgoing is very
important. A tech support person said "blackice" has
holes in it and recommended i9nstall. What is a top
quality firewall out there ?

p.s. someone at work recommended a free program called
Zone Alarm ?
 
ZoneAlarm is a nice tool

if u deside on using it sett internett security to medium and run the
programs you usualy use to do what ever you do and sett it to max.
