xp rollout

We are looking at rolling out XP Professional soon. What
I would like to know is if something exists that would
scan the network and tell me if all the machines on the
network had the neccessary hardware requirements to run
XP? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply but these packages only allow it to
scan the local machine. I need something I can scan from
one machine and get list of all machines that are either
compatible or not.

Nope, its not possible. IF you have VNC software, you could remote
login to other computers and check them otherwise it requires a visit
to each machine...
