xp resume Bootvis.exe

Why would you want it? It no longer available because people kept downloading it thus wasting their time so MS made it available on EMail request only.

It to test new OEM machines so they can boot in the time period set by MS. It's a diagnostic tool.
 
actually , it's highly recommended by www.VideoGuys ,in
their WinXP tweaks ,and I quote :

" First regards to boot times. Microsoft provides an
excellent little program called bootvis.exe. for Windows
XP. The program and detail instructions cab obtained at :
http://www.microsoft.com/hwdev/fastboot/ . This little
nifty program will display (graphically) the entire boot
sequence and show which time is spent doing what... "

so that's why I'd want it...

you may feel it wastes poor little MS's time ,and as you
claim an "MVP" as part of your address ,then you may
agree with them... but ,I don't...
