When playing games such as Sims, Stronghold and Hidden &
Dangerous screen will suddenly go blank, then computer
restarts. Doesn't always happen. Couple of times computer
has restarted, barely got to desktop then restarted again.
Any one help please.

Couple of suggestions to find out what is causing the reboots

1. Click Start ---- Control Panel --- System (you may have to switch to
classic view)
On the 'Advanced' tab, click the 'Settings' button next to 'Startup and
Recovery', and uncheck the 'Automatically restart' tickbox. When your PC
next crashes, it will display a blue screen with some error messages that
may help identify the problem.

2. Click Start --- Run ---- and type 'eventvwr.msc' without the quotes.
Look for any yellow warning symbols or red errors. Paste any in your reply.

Did you overclock your PC? Is your power supply unit adequate (i.e. at
least 350 Watts for an Athlon based System)? Is the fan on your CPU
cooler running correctly and is your CPU not overheating?

Tried your 2nd suggestion - no warning symbols.
Someone suggested I disable my anti-virus auto protect
whilst playing. Have done so and haven't had any crashes
since.
I have unchecked the automatic restart box in case it
happens again.
Thanks for the help
