Had to run a repair on XP, now my computer does not recognize my USB 2.0.?
It was working before repair.

Hi,

Have you reapplied SP1? You need it for USB2.0 support.

No help there, is there anyway to remove SP1 and reinstall it? I installed
it from the new Microsoft disk, maybe they left that file off. I'll
download SP1a from website and install.

Hi,

It can't hurt, but the source shouldn't make any difference. The only thing
different in SP1 and SP1a is the virtual machine. Did your system come with
a motherboard driver disk? Have you checked with the manufacturer for an
appropriate driver set?

How do I uninstall SP1? There is no string for it in my add/remove program
listing?
And tks for all the help!

Forgot to mention, Microsoft security support said there is a USB 2.0 update
on SP1a. But, I forgot to ask them how I delete SP1.

Hi,

Locate the $NtServicePackUninstall$ folder in the \Windows directory, you
can initiate it from there.
