Not sure if this is right group, but I have a strange one. I have an XP
system, on a Domain (Windows server 2003, AD etc.). It started losing
connections, so rebooted. When it came up, it had a name in the login box of
a person who had never been on that system. The computer also changed name to
the name of the computer that person uses. It also lost IP. I have seen
systems lose IP addresses before, but have never seen one arbitraily change
it's name, or put another name in the login box. Any ideas what would cause
this?
