XP Recovery

I received the error message that "Windows could not start because the
fillowing file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\system32\c_1252.nls". I have
tried to do a recovery, but the computer will not acknowledge the XP CD (I
have tried to use it by having it in the drive and starting the computer and
I have put it in the drive after the computer is started). What is wrong?

Also, if the disk is not being recognized at boot it is probably because of
the boot order. You need to access the system BIOS and set the CD/DVD drive
ahead of the hard drive in the boot order.
