XP Reboot Problem

Hello all-

Last night I tried installing XP Pro on a computer I
recently built. I reformatted my harddrive after I had
some errors with the attempt last night.

So I freshly installed today and got no errors(although it
did go extremely fast through the first few steps as if it
had already done them).

I can now get to my desktop, but it will reboot at random
times. Sometimes right away, sometimes after a few
minutes.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I have a suggestion:

-right click "my computer" > properties > select advanced
click the last settings button (the one under start-up
and restore settings) > uncheck the box in front
of "automatically restart".

I may be a little different when you do it, but that's
because I'm using the dutch version of XP and have to
translate everything windows is saying on my side

good luck,
Peter
