Each time I boot up my computer, I get an error message
stating that it cannot find a disk in drive f. Drive f is
an internal DVD Reader/Writer.

There maybe a program loading upon startup that is trying
to access a file in thet drive.
Type "msconfig" in run, select "startup" tab and uncheck
any offending item. If unshure of what the item is dont
uncheck it!

Do you happen to have a Windows explorer screen open with that drive
highlighted?
