I'm trying to set up user accounts for me and my wife, different ones, but
everytime I try to set up different screen resolutions we both get the same
one. How can I change the screen resolution so it will be different in each
account?

Try MVP Doug Knox's "Keep User Display Settings" from:
http://www.dougknox.com/

Click on WinXP Utilties to find it.
