XP Professional and Windows 98?

I have a new server running Windows XP Professional. I
have a couple of older computers that I need to network to
the new server. I don't know if these older machines can
run under XP. Is WinXP Pro and Win98 a compatible
networking combination?

Yes - Windows 98 and WIndows XP can share files and printers if that's why
you want to network them.

just in case you run into one of the known problems, please have
a look at http://www.michna.com/kb/WxNetwork.htm. But ideally it
should work on the spot.
