Yes, Can anyone tell me where to go to turn off pop ups. I
know windows lets you block it. But, I cant find it. And
I dont want to use a firewall. So if u can help me email
me at (e-mail address removed). Thx

Hi Rampage
If you mean the 'messenger service' pop-ups go to start > run and type
services.msc
You will now be shown a list of services, scroll down to messenger, double
click on this. Now set the service to disabled and stop the service. I would
urge that a firewall is a much better thing to do than this, particularly
highlighted through the recent events with ms blast.

Hope that helps

If you mean IE popup windows then you can use the new google toolbar. It
will block popup windows. And remembers the site whose popus you want to
allow. It also has a cool form filling button!!!!!!!! So cool, just check it
out.

If you won't use a firewall, then pop-ups are the least of your worries. I
bet you don't use A/V either.

PLONK!

Now now Bobby.... Sometimes there IS a valid reason not to use a firewall...
Though I can't think of one at the moment! :)

I'm with Bobby - you're obviously too stupid to be using a computer if you
don't want to protect yourself from attack. We won't be emailing you - you
probably don't know how to access them anyway!
