Hi....... Do you know if the academic upgrade and the full upgrade are the same. Just want to know if anything is missing from the full version if i buy the academic version.........Thanks

Academic Versions of Windows XP are:

--- For noncommercial, educational use only.
--- For qualified educational users only.
--- Non-upgradeable to the next Windows O/S.
--- Non-transferable.
--- Has installation support only.
--- Has a non-perpetual license that is tied to the eligibility of the
user.
(If a user is no longer a student or educator, the license is no
longer valid)

Your right to use the Academic version of Windows XP ends when
you no longer meet the criteria for using the Academic version of XP.

Other than the above limitations, Windows XP Full Version is the same.

I bought XP Pro Upgrade (I'm in college) and it just the same as the regular one that priced higher like Carey said. Check out www.newegg.com because I bought my there for $81 with free shipping. I don't know if they have any more copies, but you can check it out.
