XP-PRO to XP-Home Via wireless router

BlankOK I have a laptop with XP Home and a desktop with XP Pro connected to
a wireless router (Lynksys)

I can print from the laptop through the router to the printer connected to
the desktop, but I cannot get to the desktop shared folders from the laptop.

It desktop shows up in my workgroup listing, but when I try to connect it
says I do not have permission.

Is the laptop trying to connect through the "guest" account? (which is
disabled)

I have an account on the desktop with administrator privileges, but it is
not even asking me to log on.
