Have recently downloaded all the hotfixes etc from MS. Now XP is
constantly bringing up a blue screen with STOP followed by lots of
zero etc. It then tells me I should run a diagnostic etc. Can't see
why XP should be having problems when both SuSE and WinME run fine all
day long.(in fact I'd forgotten what a blue screen looked like!)
Any way of finding out what is causing XP to dump the physical memory
etc. The only other problem I do get at just after logging in, not in
Adminstrator mode, is an error SCMAN. Access denied then Can't find
ScMan then another box, cannot open Service Control Manager. Where do
I find this and what is its purpose?
