Have a NEW Toshiba Satellite A65-S1065 laptop

When the machine is turned on, it goes briefly to a blue
screen--not enough time to read stop code. Then it tries
to reboot. Can't boot into Safe Mode or Last Known Good
either. Can get to a C-prompt with Recovery Console. But
don't know what to do after that.

1. Checked to see if I have the Intel P4 with the
problem. I don't.

2. Used a spyware checker before doing the download--it
was clean as far as I can tell.

3. Was using EZFirewall before the SP download--is that a
problem and can I turn it off.

4. Called Toshiba first--they told me I need to do a
complete re-install--which I would rather NOT do.

Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you!
