Hi,
I've got a really strange problem where a Windows XP Pro machine joined to a
domain is displaying the Task Manager rather than the Windows Security Window
when CTRL+ALT+DEL is pressed.
Normally this happens when the machine isn't in on a Domain, but this one
is. Since it's in Domain mode, there isn't the option of displaying the
Welcome screen (which is usually how you'd change this if you were doing it
manually).
I'm starting to wonder if this is being caused by the fact that the PC
(during build) had it's Default User (local) profile replaced by a custom
local profile (used to get rid of some of the usual XP chaff from the Start
Menu etc.). I've tried replacing the Default User profile with one from a PC
that pops up the correct Windows Security Window, but still no joy.
I'm tearing my hair out trying to sort this out - I'm supposed to be imaging
2000+ PCs with this build, and I don't think it's quite right just yet!
Any help VERY gratefully received!
Thanks,
Sputter.
