I just recently installed a new motherboard, wiped my hard drives, and
reinstalled windows. One of the first things I tried to do was to install
my external Firewire burner. Everything appeared to go ok, and XP said that
it recognized the drive, but it recognized it as the wrong thing! In device
manager it says it is an 'Oxford Semiconductor Lt. OXFORD IDE Device',
listed under Disk drives. Anyone have any ideas about this problem?
