I have recently turned my computer into a dual boot system by adding xp pro
on a seperate HD. Have been using pro and getting it up to speed and all of
a sudden today when I booted up Pro asks me for a password which it has never
done before. I remember during the install of pro it asked me to create a
admin name and password. I used the same one that I use for Home. I have
booted to Pro at least 10 times since I installed it on Christmas and it has
never asked me for a password. When I put in my password it says that it
ain't right. Now I can't get into Pro! I can still get into Home but even
the "window" that you put your name and password in is very different than
how it used to be. To add more to the cunundrum is that this didn't happen
until I installed a new wireless network card (Netgear WG311) because my
Zonet ZEW1602 decided to go on permanent vacation. Please tell me that I
aint gonna have to scrub my Pro install, I just started getting it how I want
it so I can scrub Home.

if you boot to the pro os and at the welcome screen press cntl alt delete
twice you will get the prompt for username and password. use the
administrator account and change the normal user password credentials. if
this won't work than rebuild the os.
