XP Pro only see 125GB of 200Gb new drive?

i have purchased a new 200GB hard drive and the BIOS sees the full 200GB size & maker no problem. However, XP Pro only sees the drive as a125GB drive and not 200. I have installed sp1a but still no joy. Any help would be appreciated guys. TIA
 
After installing SP1 you must turn on 48-bit LBA to see any drive larger
than 137Gb. Article Q303013 has the instructions.

Thx jerry. How do i know if the BIOS supports 48 bit lba? it is asrock K7S8XE+ I have latest BIOS also lba is on in the BIOS. Being a complete newbie, the instructions on microsft threw me a bit. Can u help plz? TIA
