XP Pro no longer connected to DC

I have a wierd issue. I joined a computer to the domain and after
logging in (under any account) I get disconnected from the server.

This is a Windows XP pro machine that use to work fine. What would
cause the system to go off line? This happens whether I'm in as the
user or administrator. I have unjoind and rejoined the domain but that
doesn't seem to do any good. It still loses its connection.

It was an issue with the user's profile. I disjoined the computer and
rejoined but this time I didn't log in as the primary user. I was able
to get onto the system just fine. I removed the local profile and
migrated settings over. Apparently this is an issue with the user.dat
file.
