XP Pro Networking Problems

I recently set up my two home computers to network
together. Both run XP Pro, and I ran the Network Wizard on
both. Both have unique names. When trying to access the
workgroup under My Network Places, it says that I cannot
access it. Also, I need to know how to share everything on
both computers, since I am the only one using them.
Please send an e-mail because I have gone through all of
the tutorials and still can't figure it out. Thanks.

Is the hardware ok? Are you using a hub/switch or crossed cable? Are the
link lights on? Can you ping each other?
