Windows XP Pro does not re-connect all mapped drives on
start or restart. Only one out of three reconnects. The
other two have red "X's" on them.

Any suggestion would be appriciated

Mines shows red X's until you double click on them...then it opens, go back
and it's connected.

The network updates the drives randomly, seems to be about every half an
hour dependant on your pc's O/S - so if you have the workstation PC off and
the 'server' one on then switch the workstation one on, the drives you want
to connect to will show red cross as the network hasn't been 'updated'
yet - sounds daft.

If you mean you can't actually open the drives atall then that's a confusing
problemO, try deletin them (the shortcuts to the drives), by 'disconnect
network drive' in some menu in my computer at the top of the window... then
try again.

Are both computers ntfs or fat32? Or it's a mix and match thingy me jig?

Also, is NETBIOS enabled over tcp/ip?

"flubba menga doobaganIo what?" - yep jargon...see if the former works first
then i'll explain...

I'm having the same problem. Both machines are running XP Pro. I've tried using the network wizard, mapping through exlplorer and mapping through my network places all to no avail. There has to be an easy way

Please help.
