I have a laptop (running XP PRO) that is connected to an
NT Domain at work, with Static assigned IP addresses.
Internal DNS, WINS, etc. on the Internal NIC card.

Laptop also has a wireless adapter card. When at home, I
want to use the wireless to browse and get email etc. I
have to go in to the LAN BRIDGE and delete my TCP/IP
settings (set to DHCP/auto assign) in order to be able to
do it.

then, when I come back to the office, reenter the info in
the LAN BRIDGE setting to be able to rejoin the DOMAIN.

Am I missing something? It seems there should be a way to
make them both work? Is there a way to setup two TCP/IP
connections so that the Wireless card is DHCP and the
NETWORK card is Hard coded?

Thanks.

Take a look at the following article for information on how to use the
TCP/IP alternate configuration option available in XP...

That was kinda' it. The TCP/IP Properties were not
showing up when I right Click on either of the network
adaptors. I removed them from the LAN Bridge
configuration, then each had their own IP settings that
could be configured. I was then able to assign the "Hard"
card, the one in the office, to the IP address I wanted,
while allowing the Wireless card to be DHCP, auto assign
for the home wireless network. All is working well.

Thanks.
